My new favorite photograph of Whitney!

I would like to say that we had a good week...but... on Monday Tim and I attended a meeting for Cole's upcoming World Literature Writing Class and I learned that words like 'good' are low standard words...they do not convey specific meaning. So, we had a
gratifyingly progressive week. Whitney's billirubin levels were creeping higher and higher at the end of last week. If they didn't come down within 12 hours she would have had to been readmitted to TMH for phototherapy. I was on edge between her levels and her small size. We had people praying all over Tallahassee, and Havanna and within 12 hours her levels dropped down over 4 points! She spent a lot of the weekend on the billiblanket. Tim and I watched INVICTUS on Saturday (Awesome movie!) and she was laying on my chest and lifted her head up and held it there multiple times. Strong girl! Cole, Lily and Owen have been as good as gold (uhh did it again with the good word) and loving me and their sister. We have had a lot of reading/playing/cleaning time the past few weeks. Most of our school books are ordered and I expect to start school next week. School room photos to follow... I am so above and beyond blessed to have 4...I still find it astounding to say...4 beautiful babies! I am looking forward to all that this season has in store for us. Stay tuned...
OH, Whitney had her two week appointment today and she weighs 5lb 8.5oz and has grown a half inch to 19"! Good girl!

Here's a series of faces:

In other news, I am LOVING The Pioneer Woman's Blog! She also has a contributor called OMSH who has 2 GREAT articles on homeschooling. One of them is about 7 points to finishing the year strong...I am going to print it out and hang it up!

I took a nap today so sound that I was lying in drool and immobility when I started coming too....gross-too true, but soooo refreshing :)

The relationship that has changed the most after having Whitney is of course the one I have with Owen. He was my baby, everyday we would snuggle and spend lots of time together. Well he has really matured over the last month...both emotionally and physically. He has man hands and is loosing almost all traces of baby and becoming a boy. Why does this pull at the heart strings so? I am sooo proud of him though. He has welcomed his baby Whit Whit with love and kisses! He is such a big help, and he still gives me the hundreds of kisses I ask for. Lily still 'mother/sisters' him as always. She now is a teacher to him as well. I heard them playing BANK today and she was teaching him the difference between $5s and $50s...what an angel girl Lily is! I love them. Ok, well the stream of conscious dialect is probably due to my lack of sleep. Although I don't 'feel' exhausted, I have found myself in the middle of a task forgetting what I am doing. I can also tell I need a nap when Lily's one- pitched high- and- loud whistle note starts getting to me. That was today's coma's trigger :)
