How can it be SIX years since Suzy Dean, Tim, Epi Dural, Dr. Hall and I met Owen Wyatt Batey??? Owen, currently known as Owin, has been such a source of JOY and LIFE in my life. He is such a great kid: he's smart, funny, strong, sensitive, creative, obedient, adventurous, confident and dashingly charming I might add. If I was 6...I might definitely have an Owin crush!Owen has really grown this year...he is strong and can swim well! Well...I think so! He is a fab brother to his siblings and Whitney is delighted in him. As I celebrate the birthdays of my children, I am reminded and grateful for every day that the LORD has allowed me to share life with them. Oh my cup runneth over!
We ate at Panera and I had to give myself an internal pep talk as I watched them consume their cinna crunch sugar balls. At 1:30, 3 of his friends are coming over for a Ninjago party...follwed by Big Easy Snowballs at 3:30. Then Pizza and Grandma & Pop pop's house followed by a "Sippy Dippy Mud Cake with extra chocolate and extra, extra, extra marshmallows." Thank GOD the older two have a swim meet tomorrow.
