May Recap

May Recap…

Over the last few years I have noticed a pattern that takes place in the month of MAY that can be best summed up as: CRAZY BUSY! The weather is beautiful, the light of finishing another homeschool year is at the end of the tunnel, and everything we are involved in comes to a close. Soccer, ballet, triathlon training for Cole and Lily, Co-op visits, dentist appt., trip to book fair, growth groups, Bible study, Church, Birthday, Mother’s Day, finishing school, work…AHHHHH! I have to remind myself to RELAX because I feel like I am running at 100 mph at times. However, these are all fairly fun things and all of them are real blessings that we get to participate in. Even the dentist…Owen asked to go there on his birthday (no, Owen). So here is the general recap of May in photos:…

But first...some cute sayings:

Owen regarding Whitney: "Mom, sometimes when I think about Whitney I get a ticklish feeling in my heart"

Owen sayings :Tacky-ota Pudding (Tapioca Pudding)

I am going to caption on top of the photos this week:
We celebrated Tom's Birthday a few Sundays ago. This is always a very near and dear celebration. From the first time I met Tom he has loved me so well! He has such a fathering heart towards Lily and I...and now Miss Whitney. Tom is also one of my most favorite people in the world (you too...Cale). He is a very smart and creative person, and he makes me laugh! Each year that we celebrate his birthday is just another reminder to me how God has provided for my heart with Tim's parents. Don't hate me; those of you with in-law problems.
Miss Amber is one of my other fav people ever! Apparently Lily loves her as much as I do. Amber took Lily out to Starbucks and then to see Soul Surfer. Lily adores her and I think their friendship is soooo precious! Thanks Amber!
These are from The National Day of Prayer at the Capitol in Tallahassee. The kids have a booklet and go through the different stations (EMS, Firemen, Sheriff) and read/pray a blessing for those in service. It is so meaningful for me to see all ages and races of people come together to pray and honor those in service. Ahhh, I love it. But I have to laugh...I always feel a little silly when it comes to the State Troopers...maybe a little guilty :) HAHA. Ok, ok,...I drive under 78 on I10...does that count?
                                     Below is my favorite!

Cole, always my hero, protecting Whitney's ears from the loud music:..
 Kleman Plaza with the kids...

Mother's Day...My precious BABIES!!! And husband!!!

A photo shoot of Whitney at a soccer game:

Soccer party plan B at Chic Fila due to a thunderstorm...
This is the team Tim has coached this year... CSA U10
 Owen's last day of Skeeters...

 I mean COME ON!!!
Ok...had to include this photo to remind me of Owen's friend, "Hunt"...except the kid's name is HANS!!! Owen has been talking about HUNT for weeks, and even after we explained to him that his name is HANS, he still calls him HUNT...sometimes HUT! Hahaha
