RED HILLS TRIATHLON

This morning started fairly early at 6:30am. Quick breakfast and then out the door. We drove over to the new aquatics center, Morcom Pool, in Innovation Park. After setting up Cole and Lily's stations, and bumping into our friends, we waited for their sex and age divisions to begin. I am so proud of Cole and Lily! The triathlon went great, and it was such an accomplishment. The race in itself, with transitions and a course we have never done before, was full of new challenges and experiences. The both finished well and celebrated with friends and Grandma Kubilus!

CLASSIC COLE: When he finished the race my Mom looked down and noticed that he put his shoes on the wrong feet (and he didn't even notice!) Hahaha...Cole...maybe next month you will be even faster if you put your shoes on the correct feet!

Lily swallowed and choked on some water in the pool, but then she finished that leg and sprinted through her transitions. She is a true competitor. Lily...I wish I was like you as a kid! Haha...ok, even now :) Love you girl!
Thank GOD my Mom came because Tim and I were rushing from transition to transition coaching the kids and taking pictures. What are we going to do in June if Owen wants to participate? Anyone available the third Saturday of June???

Whitney gets the award for BEST BABY EVER! We have dragged her through the races the last few weeks...You go girl!

Steve was being hilarious as always making cracks about slashing all of the other kid's tires and other various types of sabotages!

Jonah, their training partner, flexing it up...
 I heart Margo...

 The McNees crew...showing the way...

 I LOVE this picture:
Heidi in the lime...she has been a GREAT coach!
Lily making friends wherever she is:
This picture I like to title: Moms

 Love this shot:

She is a blur and I am thrilled!

A little too pale and quiet for my liking...but she came around in 20 minutes:

Cole hugging his sister...he is so proud!
