December is one of my favorite months. I took a ton of photos, but then my computer was on hospice, so I had to wait to get another one. Alas, I hope to catch up on my Blog. Here are some of my favorite memories from Christmas past:
The Nutcracker with Cale, Lily and Owen. This inspired Owen to choreograph his own dance to the Nutcracker soundtrack on Christmas Day which I was superbly eleated enough to catch on film!
We sat next to Margo and her beautiful family!
December just wouldn't be complete without our annual date with the Hintons' to The Living Nativity, or whatever it is called...haven't said it right in 7 years, why try now?! The kids are getting sooo big!
Here we have pics of the Jingle Bell Parade and Festival of Lights downtown. Always cherish my memories of sharing that with the Bells, the Tweety's, the Coya's, the Gray's, the Hammett's, the Hunter's...etc... Such special times. This year we hung out with the Alley's, the Mitchell's, the Janek's and that crew. Lily and I also walked in the parade as part of the Dance Fusion float.
Swim meet in Panama City. Had a fun dinner at the Mellow Mushroom.
Quin is such a great kid!
Tim's office party the night before my birthday. SO FUN!!!!!
Owen wore his laurel crown that he got during his ancient Greece studies...
So on my birthday, we went to Red Eye for coffee, then watched White Christmas like we do every year. Then all of my friends' families came over our house for some delish chili Margo made, and then Mr. Ed drove us around Huntington Estates for a night of Christmas Lights and carolling.
This was one of the most special Christmas gifts for me! On Christmas Eve we drove to Archer to celebrate with family. Tim's parents, my family and I walked the farm at Archer. It is always so still and beautiful. I have a ton of memories stored up in my heart doing that over the years. One of my favorite places:
Camellias on Aunt Ann's dining table:
Aunt Ann's porch:
Tim asked Uncle Gabe if he put up his Christmas tree yet. He replied, "Yes...I threw some lights on the bush out front." HILAR!
Ok, the farm for real now:
LOVE THEM!
Party at Debbie and John's home. They are so nice...look at the baby girls: AAAHHHHH!!!!
Christmas morning at our house. I am a sucker for cute pj's!
Cole disappeared shortly after this only to emerge at 4pm with this entire set built. He gets all mad scientist-ty and forgets to eat and drink. LORD, bring him a good wife! Please!
I heart my MOM!!!
Aunt Meggan made this for Whitney. I mean, COME ON!!!
Some of my other favorite memories include a 7 mile run with Margo and Jess one Monday night. All of the Christmas lights were on in Huntington Estates, the wagons of carollers were out, and it was just a perfect run. Jess and I also had a good run on St. Mark's trail in January, even though it was FRIGID! All of our long runs were really enjoyable except for the one in Southwood which we both refer to as hell-ascious. Anyway, ...only 4 more months to catch up on now :)
