A Day in the Life of...: January 2013

Well, there it is. Written in the title. Alas the time has come and gone. I am enjoying the excitement of my snow filled adventures here in Michigan, but as I edited these photos my heart ached for my Tallahassee friends. ACHED.

I would personally like to thank everyone who participated in one of our 'going away' celebrations: My Satellite High School reunion party at my parents (photos later), my Co Op GNO with all of my awesome homeschool mom friends, this party, and of course Hot Mess Monday...my last, and by far saddest ever bootcamp class.

In all honesty I am not even sure if Elvis in his hay-day ever felt as honored and loved as we did during our last month in town. There were so many precious moments that I was blessed with during my last weeks in Tallahassee. I was showered with gifts, cards, words of encouragement and love. I tried so hard to express my heart for those around me, however sometimes the words just wouldn't come. I know...SHOCKING! It was a beautiful transition into this next chapter.

Dan and Rene Meyer, Margo and Kristy all hosted a FABULOUS going away party. Margo decided on a fiesta theme with one rule: No Crying Allowed. We all did fairly well (until I opened my gift) and I had a blast considering the circumstances of the farewells. Jean provided the Lucy and Leo's cupcakes, while Jess, Libby and Jordan helped man the photo booth. Ahhh...the photo both. Lots of props provided a night full of laughs. Who doesn't love a mustache?!

Looking at these photographs yesterday and today has provided me with more than one laugh out loud moment. Margo; You SO Crazy! And don't hate me Ross!
