Lily turned 8 a few weeks ago, so I thought I would browse through the years and upload some of my favorite pictures. 89 PICTURES LATER! I am so bad at summarizing...it is all or nothing with me! These are in an unorganized fashion due to how they are stored alaphabetically on my Firelite. Each picture has a favorite story behind it...but come on, 89! So I will just say a few words about my baby girl now.When I found out I was pregnant with Lily I almost immediately knew she was a girl based on how great I felt, and how fab my skin was. I went on bed-rest with Lily after she tried to come at 32 weeks. I was so glad when she obediently waited until 38 weeks to be born. Classic Lily...always ahead of the time tables. She is so full of LIFE! Lily brings joy, energy, excitement and peace into the room when she walks in. She is sweetness multiplied and leaks love wherever we go. One time we were in a Wal-Mart and the greeter there had some sort of facial deformity. I had noticed her before. Lily whispered to me, "Mom...she is so beautiful". Lily would walk through my Grandma's living facility, or hospital, and allow all of the senior citizens to hug her and she would love on them back. I am truly amazed by the way she sees the world and its people. Lily is such a great mom/sibling, and I cannot imagine my life without her. From the moment she was born I was joyed that I had met one of my lifelong best friends (I know, I know, I have to get throught the teenage years first). I am honored to know her and be her Mom...and I look forward to a lifetime of memories shared with her!
